Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Involved in the margins of music that is traditional and popular since she was a teenager, she explores other styles like hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist of great talent, described her voice as one that was sweet with an old-fashioned bit. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually earning the Grammy. In 2021, her single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. The third album by Motomami collaborated on songwriting with numerous producers and artists including Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released the month of March, 2022 following a performance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia sang solo for the first time on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first woman ever to receive both of these awards.
