Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born to an adored family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas, and every form of dramatic performance. She began singing and learning songs with her mother and commenced more serious training in singing when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. Her early professional career was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving to the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Ana is involved in a variety of local projects in both teaching as well as a performer due to her passion for art and music. Ana has also been a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
